Fine vertical rows of stitching, made up of tiny dots pulled tight, run down the face of the cover and give it the texture of snakeskin without any print involved. In bluish silver gray it is grey on grey and very quiet; in green and silver the two threads sit against each other and the surface shifts as you move past it; in purple and champagne the wave in the stripe is more pronounced. All three are woven polyester and reverse to self.
