The front of this cover is folded into narrow pintucks and stitched down, which gives the silk dupioni a ribbed, shadowed surface instead of a flat one. A line of crystal sequins runs through the center of the tucks and picks up whatever light is in the room. Sand is the warmer of the two; light taupe leans gray and works better with cool bedding. Because dupioni is slubbed, the tucks catch the light unevenly, which is the point. The back is plain dupioni with a flap-covered zipper.
