Wide zebra stripes run across the face of the cover in soft, slightly irregular bands, the way real markings do rather than a printed repeat. The dark brown and cream version is warm and close to the natural coloring; the gray and white reads cooler and quieter, closer to a graphic stripe from a distance. The microfiber polyester has a fine, dry hand and holds the pattern edges crisply. Both sizes reverse to self, so the stripes carry around to the back.
